Job Summary

As a key member of the ZOLL Resuscitation team, you will play a critical role in supporting all activities related to the production of our lifesaving medical products. This includes daily manufacturing and test support, process and yield improvement, quality and cost improvements, floor layout, New Product Introduction, and process definition and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily production support, including troubleshooting tooling and fixture problems, training personnel, and providing technical support to purchasing and materials.
  • Lead projects for process improvements, root cause investigations, implementation of corrective/preventative actions, cost reduction activities, new product releases/enhancements, capital investments, and other long-term project activities.
  • Manage weekly meetings to review manufacturing and quality data.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent.
  • BSEE preferred.
  • Should have 2 years of direct floor support experience in an electro-mechanical assembly and functional test environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, including PCB fabrication and assembly, functional test, HASS, molding, machining, etc.
  • Project management experience demonstrating the ability to meet schedules and cost targets.
  • Background in product structure, BOMs, and MRP systems.
  • Exposure to LEAN Manufacturing, and Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving process.
  • Knowledgeable in the creation of validation, pFMEA, and other operations support documentation.
  • Proficient in the most common PC-based applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ISO-9000.
  • Familiarity with FDA QSR documentation requirements a plus.
