Cashier Duties encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Greet patrons upon arrival, deliver exceptional customer service, and process payments upon their departure.
  • Take food and beverage orders from patrons and input them into the POS system.
  • Handle payments and execute transactions in accordance with established protocols; provide accurate change; reconcile cash drawer at the end of the shift; complete all necessary opening and closing documentation; record voids on the void balance sheet.
  • Effectively communicate with all patrons.
  • Report issues to management without delay.
  • Occasionally assist with clearing tables to facilitate efficient seating for waiting guests.
  • May be required to address guest concerns and special requests.
Cashier Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service and cash management.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
The Cashier role necessitates the capability to:
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail.
  • Lift or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Handle various objects (including cash, coins, credit cards), products, and operate phones.
  • Utilize credit card processing equipment.
  • Stand, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
  • Remain stationary at either the entrance or exit of the venue for extended periods while navigating the facility safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with guests, team members, and third parties, reflecting positively on the venue and the brand.
  • Utilize reading and writing skills frequently, particularly when documenting and reviewing guest checks and POS reports.
  • Comprehend and analyze POS reports.
  • Employ basic math skills regularly when handling cash transactions.
  • Maintain an accurate record of the cash bank.
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
