Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Advanced Imaging faculty position at UH Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified pediatric cardiologist to work in a collaborative and innovative clinical and educational program. The successful candidate will model teamwork, collaboration, and dedication to patients and partners, representing the section in the community, nationally, and internationally.

  • The Section consists of nine board-certified pediatric cardiologists with diverse specialties including interventionalists, electrophysiologists, advanced imaging cardiologists, fetal cardiologists, general cardiologists, and cardiovascular surgeons.
  • This position replaces a vacancy created by a relocating faculty member and offers opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • The candidate will have dedicated time for imaging, outpatient, and inpatient care, including outreach clinic sessions.
Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be BE/BC in Pediatric Cardiology. The rank and appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's credentials and experience.

The selected candidate will be well-supported at a world-class children's hospital with over 60 years of experience in pediatric and adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) patient care.
