Bilingual Caseworker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Caseworker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for conducting home studies, providing post-release services, and ensuring the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children and their sponsors.

• Conduct thorough home studies to assess the suitability of potential sponsors for unaccompanied children.
• Provide post-release services, including regular check-ins, in-home visits, and referrals to community-based services.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs of each child and sponsor.
• Collaborate with community services providers to ensure seamless referrals and connections.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic case files and required databases.
• Participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and national skills-building trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
• Written and verbal fluency in Spanish and English.
• Minimum of two years of related professional experience working with children, family reunification/preservation, kinship care, foster care, child welfare, and/or conducting home studies.
• Experience working with immigrant populations and unaccompanied minors preferred.
• Knowledge of local community social services and navigating the social service system.
• Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

This is a remote position with occasional in-person meetings at the discretion of the local office. A variable work schedule/hours, including non-traditional hours such as evenings and weekends, will be required to accommodate sponsors' and children's schedules.
