Position Summary
As an Advanced Practice Provider in the Emergency Department, this role requires performing a variety of advanced nursing and physician assistant functions according to professional standards of care. The provider must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with professional standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient outcomes
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
Must be licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services and licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
