Key Responsibilities

Our seasoned professionals are unique, utilizing their expertise and experience to deliver measurable, enhanced outcomes for our clients. Our Turnaround and Restructuring (TRS) Vice Presidents collaborate with a team of AlixPartners professionals providing business, financial, and strategic consulting guidance to companies facing underperformance or requiring critical solutions to complex issues. In this engaging and demanding role, you will make a significant impact by assisting clients in effectively navigating their challenges and promoting organizational excellence in 'high stakes' situations.

The TRS Senior Vice President position is an experienced-level role that supports one or more client engagement teams. A TRS Senior VP will possess direct experience in restructuring advisory and/or distressed debt portfolios, combined with robust financial and analytical capabilities. In addition to strong data management, interpersonal, writing, and communication skills, along with executive presence, the TRS Senior Vice President is expected to have hands-on experience in developing integrated three-statement financial and 13-week cash flow models. The ability to guide clients and engagement teams through challenging in-and-out-of-court turnaround and restructuring scenarios, along with a willingness to undertake extensive travel, is essential. Occasionally, long hours during the week and on weekends may be necessary due to client demands.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant restructuring/distressed experience in a professional service or consulting firm environment is required; 8 or more years is preferred.
  • Advanced degrees and applicable professional certifications are preferred.
  • A proven track record of consistently delivering high-value work to meet client needs.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with a solid understanding of financial statements.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, capable of preparing well-structured, easily comprehensible analyses and presentations. Communicates information articulately in English and adapts effectively to the audience. Delivers influential client communications with clarity and confidence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard U.S. business hours, particularly as unique projects and needs arise.
  • Ability to work full-time in both office and remote environments; physically capable of sitting/standing at a computer and working in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

The salary range for this role considers various factors and is between $175,000/year - $275,000/year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
