Key Responsibilities:- Patient Registration: Register patients for appointments, obtain necessary demographic and insurance information, and verify patient identities.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments and medical tests as needed, ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Chart Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, including demographic and medical information.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical Office Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably as a medical assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
