About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the efficient maintenance of our products.

This role will involve:

  • Reporting product failure trends and serviceability issues to our management team.
  • Providing timely and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
  • Maintaining accurate records of technical information, Field Service Reports, and Expense Reports.
  • Developing strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
  • Maintaining the performance of assigned equipment.
  • Contributing to the achievement of our branch/district's overall metric targets.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete our 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
  • The ability to travel and hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • The ability to obtain necessary security and/or other clearances required by our customers to enter their premises.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
