About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Clerk Part Time to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a key member of our Club Support Center, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and positive environment for our members and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties, including wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, and pulling pallets
  • Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance
  • Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and ensure supply areas are clean, neat, and organized
  • Perform minor and routine building repairs and notify management when major repairs may be required
Requirements
  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
  • Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred
