Job Summary:

The Application Analyst Professional Billing role at Covenant HealthCare is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of software functionality and departmental policies. As a key member of the IT team, the successful candidate will design, build, and test applications, ensuring seamless integration with Vendor software. This individual will work closely with other Application Analysts to implement and maintain Vendor Software, providing 24x7 emergency support and remote assistance as needed. Effective communication and customer service skills are essential, as the Application Analyst will interact with various stakeholders, including project teams, departments, medical staff, and outside constituents. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot problems and prioritize issues effectively. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and documenting internal procedures, reviewing new Vendor software releases, and collaborating with the IT team to resolve equipment and application processing issues. Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and test applications to ensure seamless integration with Vendor software
Provide advanced support for applications responsible for maintaining
Represent Covenant HealthCare positively to project teams, departments, medical staff, leadership, and outside constituents
Listen and respond to questions/concerns of co-workers and other members of the organization
Work with outside vendors and representatives to resolve issues and ensure systems function effectively
Interact effectively with the IT team regarding equipment problems, application processing issues, and testing updates
Develop protocols and procedures and update them as appropriate in relation to the system
Utilize appropriate methodologies for communication, issue tracking systems, and project documentation
Examples of appropriate tools include Microsoft Office, Footprints, and Wrike
Examples of appropriate forums include professional letters, conference calls, presentations, huddles, team, and committee meetings
Understand regulatory requirements in relation to the system
Coordinate software updates/changes with end users and other team members
Thoroughly review and test each new release and communicate needed changes to the Vendor before users are permitted to access the new release
Assist in evaluating replacement and new hardware needs for the IT Department
Develop/assist with training through the development of training tools and training of key staff
Reviews and validates System Update and New Release software utilizing approved CHS Change Management processes
Abides by change control procedures
Troubleshoots problems or questions from end users
Prioritizes issues and personal workload effectively
Effectively answers questions and/or concerns regarding the system in a positive fashion
Works effectively as both a team member and one on one
Works independently, seeks guidance as necessary
