Job Title: Registered Nurse, Float 32 D/E

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Float Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to care for patients on all our in-patient units, as well as at the Clinical Evaluation Center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on various units, gaining a rich learning experience and developing your clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in leading patient groups and providing education to patients and their families.
  • Supervise Mental Health Workers and provide direction and guidance as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based initiatives to improve patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Ability to utilize the nursing process and work collaboratively with others.
  • No experience required; one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
