Job Description

CPM Holdings, Inc. is a leading global supplier of process equipment and engineered technologies that sustainably feed, fuel, and build a better world. As a Process Modeler, you will be responsible for customer assessment and modeling engagements. You will also support the improvement of "Crown" Process and Equipment designs, transferring information from the Plant Model to Aspen Custom Modeler. This includes work in the areas of computational fluid dynamics, mass and energy balances, process modeling, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer using state-of-the-art computer modeling techniques, advanced engineering measurements, and analytical calculation.

This role requires a strong understanding of process design and equipment sizing and selection. You will work closely with Field Services teams to execute recommended improvements and provide engineering support, guidance, and technical assistance to project managers, process engineers, salesmen, and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform facility assessments and modeling engagements to improve customer facility performance in energy, yield, capacity, water and wastewater consumption.
  • Demonstrate advanced application knowledge of computer-aided engineering and other analytical methods including process and equipment modeling.
  • Provide engineering support, guidance, and technical assistance to project managers, process engineers, salesmen, and designers.
  • Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years related experience.
  • Proficient in Aspen Custom Modeler or equivalent simulation software.
  • Strong understanding of process design and equipment sizing and selection.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
