Plant HR Manager

Lactalis Heritage Dairy is seeking a highly skilled Plant HR Manager to join our team in Walton, NY. As a key member of our plant management team, you will be responsible for driving business strategy and achieving breakthrough results through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Partner with plant management to understand business issues and opportunities, and assist in developing HR initiatives to address those needs.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and retention of all plant employees, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Manage site payroll administration and LOA process, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Provide guidance and support to plant management on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee and management performance, and ensure effective utilization of performance management feedback systems and processes.
- Manage and enhance a productive work environment by resolving conflicts between management and associates, coaching management on effective management and coaching techniques, and maintaining open communication with employees and managers.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Administration, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of HR generalist experience, with 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- 3+ years of experience leading direct reporting team members.
- Experience working with labor unions is required.
