Cashier/Sales Associate - Overnight

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team for overnight shifts. As a key member of our 3rd shift crew, you will provide exceptional customer service, operate a cash register, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions, and managing cash and credit sales.
  • Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Process specialty products, including money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
  • Enforce age restrictions and check identifications for restricted sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sanitizing equipment and areas, and emptying trash containers.
  • Check in vendor deliveries, ensure shelves are stocked, rotated, and front-faced, and remove damaged and out-of-code merchandise.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned to accommodate store operational needs.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in certain states).
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to a criminal history background check.
