We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate care
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel
- Administer medications, complete treatments, and provide educational materials to patients and families
- Review physician orders, ensure accurate documentation, and notify the Charge Nurse and/or physician of changes in patient status
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting
- Recent critical care experience preferred
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification preferred
