Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Long Term Care setting, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our patients and delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to patient assessments and ensure the well-being of patients.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on disease treatment plans, self-care, and follow-up care.
  • Work in a safe and alert manner at all times.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • No experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Physical Requirements
  • Constant use of speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
  • Frequent use of smell to detect odors.
  • Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of patients.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive movements.
  • Occasional driving.
  • Rare crawling and running.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - State of Work Location or Compact Multi-State License.
