About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Michael Page. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Finance in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Support the development of financial plans and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Analyze product profitability and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and maximized margins.
    • Evaluate the impact of manufacturing process changes on financial performance and advise on strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing-related transactions and adherence to financial controls.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
