Visual Merchandising Design Coordinator

Fourth Floor is seeking a skilled Visual Merchandising Design Coordinator to join their team in NYC. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for executing visual merchandising requests, managing multiple phases of projects, and developing designs that are clear, visually impactful, and easy to navigate.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies to maximize product exposure and storytelling.
  • Produce 3D models, renders, plans, 2D graphics, and design turn-over drawings (DTOs) to meet needs for product displays, launch content, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with key partners to ensure all designs achieve the best results for each program.
  • Ensure merchandising solutions result in a cohesive brand message and positive brand experience for all customers in-store.
  • Attend meetings, present concepts, and report on project status as necessary.
  • Maintain a well-organized database of all project assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends in visual arts and merchandising, researching trends and materials.
Requirements:
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to manage and own projects, and develop on-schedule.
  • Demonstrated experience in visual merchandising design, preferably in luxury beauty brands.
  • Beauty experience is required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, creative environment.
  • Proficient in 3D design programs (Rhino, Keyshot) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, and imaginative with a strong understanding of 3D design.
  • Can take direction, work independently, and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of retail trends and SMC environments.
