Job Overview

Custom Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacy Administrative Assistant to enhance our client’s operations at a prestigious cancer treatment and research facility.

  • This role is a long-term temporary opportunity.
  • The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
  • The compensation for this position is $23.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Proficient in managing and directing phone communications
  • Strong organizational skills for accurate documentation
  • Quick learner with a keen eye for detail

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing front desk activities, including handling incoming calls
  • Coordinating the scheduling of medication deliveries
  • Ensuring smooth operations of equipment and facilities
  • Managing mail distribution and receiving packages
  • Organizing inventory in shelves and cabinets
  • Monitoring and replenishing pharmacy supplies as necessary
  • Tracking replacement components for all equipment, such as toners for printers and copiers
  • Reporting ongoing or complex issues to the Lead Pharmacy Technician
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Preferred Education: Some college coursework or an Associate's degree. A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Minimum Experience: At least 1 year in a relevant role
  • Preferred Experience: Background in office management or retail pharmacy settings
