Job Summary

WR Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our key projects to ensure timely completion and within budget, while adhering to our quality standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cost estimates and prepare quotes and/or proposals in response to Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and/or Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Monitor and control project schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
  • Assist senior and executive management in the development of long and short-range project objectives.
  • Aid the negotiation of delivery orders and contractual changes.
  • Recommend changes to improve productivity and reduce cost.
  • Assist with related proposal data calls.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with subcontractors.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with customers.
  • Supervise project staff and resources.
  • Interview and hire staff to execute project requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding project status.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in managing projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Interact tactfully with management, customers, and other personnel.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with subordinates and peers.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of project management tools and processes.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of organizational operation and business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adapt to frequent changes in workload and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent in unclear circumstances.
  • Write in a concise, logical, and grammatically correct documentation.
  • Speak clearly and distinctly over the telephone, before groups of customers, with government representatives, and/or with management and/or other employees of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with supervisors and peers.
  • Work well within a team environment and to develop relationships at all levels of the organization.
