Job Title: Dietitian Nutritionist
Job Summary:
Sodexo, a leading private employer of Registered Dietitians, is seeking a full-time Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC. This position involves providing nutritional care for inpatient units and outpatient oncology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
- Provide outpatient counseling in the cancer center
- Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
- Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
- Work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide exemplary patient care
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian credentials or eligibility for RD certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills, self-starter, and team player
- Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire.
