We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC. This is a full-time position that offers a generous sign-on bonus and a range of benefits.

About the Role

This position is approximately 80% inpatient care and 20% outpatient oncology. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to patients on various inpatient units, performing quality improvement initiatives, and educating healthcare team members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care to patients on inpatient units
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives, such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide exemplary patient care
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials may be required at the time of hire.
