Job Overview

MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE OPERATING A SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT

Connect Staffing is on the lookout for a skilled Forklift Operator to join a dynamic team within a company specializing in the production of beverages.

Work Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with Saturday availability.

Key Qualifications for a Forklift Operator:

  • At least 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Successful completion of background checks, drug screening, and E-verify.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Previous experience in roles such as Material Handler, Warehouse Forklift Operator, Shipping and Receiving, or Freight Handler is advantageous.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a Bill of Material to provide necessary materials to the production line.
  • Ensure that pallets of finished goods are securely wrapped, labeled, and contain barcode labels.
  • Load outbound trailers, ensuring the trailer locking device is utilized at all times.
  • Unload incoming materials and verify that the received quantities match the bill of lading.
  • Inspect and confirm that raw materials received are free from defects or damage, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Organize, label, and properly wrap all packing materials by the end of the shift.
