Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

The Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dealership. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, routing calls to the appropriate employee or department as needed.
  • Take written messages from occupied personnel and notify them as soon as possible regarding pending messages.
  • Coordinate questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
  • Address customer concerns and issues or escalate them as needed.
  • Assist with clerical/office tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, sending bills, and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information at all times.
  • Assist the service staff in contacting customers to inform them that their vehicles have been completed.

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but previous retail and/or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Automotive dealership experience is a plus.
  • Service or hospitality industries experience is a plus.
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Strong organization skills, able to multitask, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
