Salary Range: $205,000- $328,965 USD Annually (this range does not include potential annual bonuses)
Job Purpose:
Enhance the health of the communities served by providing leadership in clinics to ensure high-quality patient care and financial sustainability as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise assigned healthcare providers, including:
o Evaluating clinical competencies and appropriateness of care through chart reviews and direct observation.
o Assessing interpersonal dynamics with colleagues, supervisors, and staff.
o Developing ongoing education plans, ensuring necessary training is completed; responsible for timely performance evaluations of team members.
o Identifying and addressing performance challenges, including documentation of improvement plans and follow-up.
o Conducting orientation and training sessions.
o Leading essential meetings, including preparing presentations, agendas, and minutes.
• Foster and maintain positive staff relations and efficient patient care delivery.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as an advocate for the electronic health record system through effective utilization.
• Assist the Clinic Administrator in addressing patient concerns.
• May provide expert consultation to clinical leadership and programs in specific areas of expertise.
• Participate in recruitment efforts as necessary.
• Coordinate and/or participate in staff training sessions as directed.
• Collaborate with providers and support teams to develop and implement clinical and operational strategies.
• Attend lead provider meetings and communicate information between the Chief Clinical Officer and the provider team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the mission and core values of CHAS Health.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: As outlined in the job descriptions for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, or Dentists. Prior leadership experience is highly preferred.
Skills: In addition to clinical qualifications, team-building and leadership skills, including conflict resolution, training, and supervision are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with individuals at all organizational levels is necessary. Strong organizational and follow-up skills are essential. Capability to operate under tight deadlines, manage high-stress situations, and adapt to changing priorities is required. Proficient computer skills are necessary. Commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential. A valid driver's license and insurance are required.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to hear, see, stand, sit, and move about. The employee will use hands for tasks such as handling or feeling. Communication occurs consistently throughout the day. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
