KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and waxing floors.
  • Utilize machines for carpet shampooing.
  • Ensure walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Wash both interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
  • Keep entryways tidy, empty exterior cigarette urns, and manage trash disposal immediately outside building entrances.
  • Sanitize restrooms, including sinks and toilets, while replenishing necessary supplies.
  • Replace interior light bulbs accessible from the sixth step of a ladder or lower.
  • Complete maintenance requests to inform management of required repairs.
  • Clear snow and ice, applying salt or ice melting products to designated areas as necessary.
  • Organize and stock custodial closets as required.
  • Assist in moving, removing, or setting up furniture and equipment for special events as directed.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend at a level suitable for the responsibilities of the position.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of collaborating with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Must pass a clear criminal background check.
