About the Job

This role involves processing various customer account transactions quickly and accurately while maintaining confidentiality. A Client Service Specialist provides exceptional banking experiences by building relationships and offering suitable products and services.

The responsibilities include:
  • Handling cash transactions (deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, check cashing)
  • Balancing cash drawers and client service specialist transactions
  • Demonstrating knowledge of new and existing products and services
  • Identifying and discussing customers' financial needs to offer suitable products and services
  • Ensuring the safekeeping of money in the cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds
  • Recognizing fraudulent activity
  • Performing daily tasks that maintain branch integrity (balancing ATM, processing night drop, balancing negotiable instruments, processing returned mail, balancing credit card machine, monitoring lobby rate sheets and brochures)
  • Supporting referral goals by identifying and referring basic bank products
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience as a Client Service Specialist, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cash handling environment. Bilingual skills are preferred. Additionally, you must maintain a professional demeanor at all times, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to pass Client Service Specialist training programs.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role. We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00, depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. Performance-based incentive compensation may also be available.
