Job Summary:

The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the egg processing plant. This includes cleaning equipment, facilities, and ensuring that all products are handled properly to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, facilities, and surfaces to meet company standards.
  • Ensure that all products are handled and stored properly to prevent contamination.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Report any mechanical problems or poor quality conditions to the supervisor or maintenance staff.
  • Assist in creating a One-Team environment by communicating effectively with all plant supervision and staff.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Prior egg grading machine experience an plus but not mandatory.
  • Reading and comprehensive skills necessary to follow instructions, and document.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to twist and bend.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time on different surfaces, including concrete.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
