The Rehabilitation Technicians/CNAs will carry out essential patient care responsibilities under the guidance of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Availability for 12-hour shifts across our multiple AFC/group homes; a valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Commitment to working every other weekend.
  • Participation in a week-long, paid mandatory training program.
  • Exemplifying a professional, courteous, and caring demeanor while representing the facility.
  • Providing direct care in Licensed Adult Foster Care Homes specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation.
  • Experience with PEG tube feedings, Hoyer lifts, bowel programs, personal hygiene, and pressure relief is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities and promoting independence through appropriate interventions.
  • Delivering care that prioritizes safety, client rights, comfort, and a therapeutic atmosphere.
  • Recognizing verbal and non-verbal cues indicating potential aggressive behavior and employing suitable de-escalation techniques.

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts (PM)
  • Three holidays per year (selection required)
  • Every other weekend availability is necessary

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a Licensed Adult Foster Care Home (Group Home)
  • Background in Traumatic Brain Injury care
  • Experience with Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation
  • Familiarity with Hoyer Lift Transfers

Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
