Pay Rate: $131,882 - $219,721.

We are seeking a Senior Project Structural Engineer with 10 or more years of experience in Structural Engineering design to perform design and design review of large-scale public works underground infrastructure and transit projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong skillset and familiarity with common methods for structural analysis and design of structures using relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate technical, interpersonal, and communications skills required to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and represent Delve Underground at industry events.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering specifications, drawings, and perform calculations in support of engineering activities.
  • Review structural designs and associated construction submittals on behalf of the owner on design-build projects for contract compliance, technical accuracy, and risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering is required; Master's degree in structural engineering is preferred.
  • At least 10 years' experience in structural analysis and design using ACI 318, ACI 350, or similar codes.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
  • Experience delivering a wide range of project types and sizes with public and private clients.
  • Experience developing contract documents, plans, details, and specifications.
  • Experience working with Contractors on large-scale Design-Build construction projects is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Presentations at key industry-related conferences and seminars are a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel for assignments as needed.
