Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair transmission problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transmission systems

  • Communicate with customers to provide clear and concise estimates and repair updates
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Transmission Technician
  • Must be Ford/Lincoln Certified
  • B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and practices necessary while operating or repairing vehicles and equipment
