Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute intricate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across various vehicle brands and models.
  • Perform detailed vehicle inspections to detect and resolve mechanical problems.
  • Employ advanced diagnostic instruments and tools to accurately assess and rectify vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Guarantee that all repairs and maintenance adhere to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, following all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Document all work completed, including parts utilized and labor hours.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by effectively communicating vehicle concerns, repair alternatives, and cost estimates to clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive advancements and industry developments through continuous training and professional growth.
  • Guide and support junior technicians and apprentices as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is mandatory.
  • Skilled in utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment, along with computerized systems.
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior quality work.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, and work in a physically demanding setting for extended durations.
