Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute intricate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across various vehicle brands and models.
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections to detect and resolve mechanical problems.
- Employ advanced diagnostic instruments and tools to accurately assess and rectify vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Guarantee that all repairs and maintenance adhere to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Document all work completed, including parts utilized and labor hours.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by effectively communicating vehicle concerns, repair alternatives, and cost estimates to clients.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive advancements and industry developments through continuous training and professional growth.
- Guide and support junior technicians and apprentices as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is mandatory.
- Skilled in utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment, along with computerized systems.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior quality work.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
