Audiologist - Toledo Hospital - Full Time - Days

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations, treatment, and interpretation for auditory disorders in both inpatients and outpatients.
Key Responsibilities- Provides diagnostic evaluations, treatment, and interpretation for auditory disorders in both inpatients and outpatients.
- Performs all modalities of evoked potentials, including BAER studies, and provides interpretation of results.
- Interprets all balance studies and provides formal reports to referring physicians.
- Provides referrals to other allied health professionals as deemed necessary.
- Counsels patients regarding test results, referrals, and recommendations.
- Participates in staff meetings and conferences concerning audiology.
- Assists in the selection of supplies, materials, and equipment for the audiology section.
- Assists in establishing goals, procedures, and services within the section as appropriate.
- Participates in the development of new programs and conducts in-service training programs for other audiologists and staff members.
- Supervises audiology doctoral students as necessary.
- Transports patients to and from the department as needed.
- Acts as a resource for patients, other medical professionals, and area audiologists for referrals, recommendations, and advice on hearing and balance needs.
- Provides screenings or counseling on hearing screenings of infants as necessary for the Universal Infant Hearing Screening program.
- Masters Degree/Au.D. in Audiology.
- Diagnostic equipment knowledge corresponding with above-listed procedures.
- 1 year of clinical experience.
- State of Ohio licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Au.D. in Audiology.
- Diagnostic equipment knowledge corresponding with above-listed procedures, including EPIC, NOAH, and Verifit.
- 2 years of clinical experience.
- ASHA certification for supervision of doctoral students.
