Locums, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Physician to join a PACE Program clinic focused on delivering exceptional care to elderly patients in Sacramento, CA. This clinic specializes in supporting frail geriatric individuals, ensuring they receive comprehensive care within their community through a collaborative team approach.
Key Details:
- Immediate opening for a full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts required.
- The clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where the provider will conduct telehealth consultations and in-home visits until full clinic operations commence.
- Average patient load is approximately 57 patients per day, all of whom are geriatric.
- The role involves providing primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, medication management, immunizations, and follow-up care for the local geriatric population under the PACE program.
- Utilization of Greenway PrimeSuite for electronic medical records.
- Malpractice insurance coverage is provided.
- For locum tenens providers, travel, lodging, and mileage expenses will be covered.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an active and unrestricted California Physician License.
- Clean background check is required.
- Active and unrestricted DEA License is necessary.
- Board Certification is mandatory.
