Saint Luke's Health System Kansas City is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a full-time position at our skilled nursing and rehab unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Administer medications to patients and ensure they receive services in accordance with their care plan.
- Oversee the activities of assigned nursing assistants and assist with new admissions and discharges.
- Consult with patients, family members, and physicians to plan patient care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Visit patients to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status, and notify the patient's attending physician and next-of-kin when there is a change in condition.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri.
- Ability to work three 12-hour shifts, with some weekends and differentials for weekends and nights.
