As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Testing, installing, repairing, or replacing plant equipment and machinery
  • Performing preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment and machinery
  • Documenting work performed and communicating work activities to appropriate personnel

You will work closely with electrical, boiler room, and operations personnel to ensure seamless production processes. Your strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • English language proficiency
  • At least 3 years' experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing
  • Served and satisfactorily completed an approved Apprenticeship or Training program

You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (IL6S). A willingness to work effectively in a team-based environment with limited supervision is essential.

Working Conditions

This role requires physical demands such as climbing steps, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures. You must be able to crawl over, under, and into equipment as necessary to perform job duties.
