Executive Chef Opportunity

Eurest, a leading provider of business and industry dining, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and preparing or directing the preparation of meals in accordance with corporate programs and guidelines.

• Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement regular and modified menus that meet established guidelines and standards.

Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, and operation of equipment, ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory standards.

Manage inventory of food and non-food supplies, ensuring that necessary products are available when needed and staying within established guidelines.

Taste completed meals to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed.

Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as department sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

• Culinary Education and Experience

A.S. or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.

Extensive catering experience and high-volume, complex foodservice operations experience are highly desirable.

Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.

Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and the Internet.
