Job Title: Graphic Printing Supervisor

Are you a seasoned production supervisor looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a highly skilled Graphic Printing Supervisor to join our team at TPI Staffing Group.

Job Summary:

The Graphic Printing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Electrical, Paint, Lamination, Face Forming, CNC, and Work Cell teams. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise production line work cell leaders to ensure optimum assembly line and production flow.
  • Achieve on-time delivery targets by allocating resources to meet detailed production schedules.
  • Monitor critical item inventory levels to prevent production line shortages.
  • Work with Purchasing, Quality, Shipping, and Receiving to ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Implement procedures per the Architectural Graphics Standards Manual.
  • Monitor backlog and schedules to detect and report problems that affect on-time delivery.
  • Identify departmental training and development needs, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with corporate and company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve major customer problems while continuously identifying process improvements and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Plan and recommend necessary staffing and resource changes required to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Maintain cost and expense parameters and profitability targets.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Graphic Printing Supervisor will directly supervise 5 to 40 employees in the Department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • High School Diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years manufacturing operations experience; 3 in a supervisory capacity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; mainframe knowledge including network, operating systems, and electronic mail; MRP experience preferred.
Work Environment:

The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
