Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of OSHA 300 logs as required by law, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate EHS responses and corrective actions to audits from regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers, ensuring a proactive and compliant approach to EHS.
  • Maintain and generate GHG reporting, providing accurate and timely data to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement EHS SOPs and programs, ensuring a consistent and compliant approach to EHS.
  • Design and deliver training programs, including Radiation Safety, Battery Dismantle, New Hires, Hazardous Materials, Forklifts, and Ergonomics, to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Provide certification of forklift operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), identifying potential hazards and implementing controls to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Coordinate emergency evacuation drills, ensuring employees are prepared in the event of an emergency.
  • Manage the hazardous waste collection and proper removal from the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track usage of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct reviews of new equipment to ensure it meets ergonomics, lockout tagout, machine guarding, and emergency stop requirements, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Post EHS programs and other relevant information for workers to access, ensuring employees are informed and aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Manage document control of EHS documents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certification (CIH or CSP) is highly desirable.
