Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state safety and environmental laws.
  • Lead EHS inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Coach and train plant personnel on EHS best practices.
  • Collect and analyze EHS metrics to inform data-driven decision making.
  • Administer EHS data systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive energy conservation and improvement projects.
  • Chair the safety committee and mentor behavior-based safety observations.
  • Contribute to emergency response planning and participate in job safety analysis.
  • Deliver EHS training and oversee record-keeping.
  • Report Workers Compensation claims and collaborate on light-duty opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing EHS experience.
  • Strong manufacturing safety background and proven injury reduction track record.
  • Knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental laws.
  • Effective communication and multitasking skills.
