BIM Manager

M3 Engineering & Technology is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to oversee and manage the development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) workflows. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with project personnel to develop and implement data-rich construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement corporate standards for design software, technical drawings, and BIM deliverables.
- Develop and manage BIM execution plans, including general standards and tailored plans per project.
- Develop and manage educational programs for M3's production staff.
- Develop and maintain software templates, parameters, and other support files.
- Manage and coordinate project execution standards, monitoring and reporting progress with project coordinators.
- Research and develop projects to expand M3's BIM/VDC capabilities.
- Coordinate and administer design software installation.
- Coordinate with IT on infrastructure-related projects affecting BIM workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a BIM managerial or supervisory role, including management of modeling and drawing standards.
- Expert knowledge of Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360.
- Ability to work with, integrate, and manage large and diverse project teams.
- Ability to support and maintain established production means and methods, and identify improvements.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience with large-scale, mechanically complex industrial and commercial projects.
- Working knowledge of Dynamo and/or Revit APIs, including custom script authoring.
- Working knowledge of 4D and 5D modeling methods and executions.
