Frye Regional Medical Center Ultrasound Tech- Full Time Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic ultra sonographic procedures under the general guidance of physicians/providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives patients, explains method of procedure, and ensures patient comfort.
  • Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
  • Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies, and organizes work area.
  • Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound, and keeps patient flow smooth.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree required.
  • ARDMS certified highly preferred or ARDMS eligible. If not certified, must complete within one year of employment or transfer.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
