Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Springboard Healthcare. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support in the catheterization laboratory, ensuring the safe and efficient performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying electrodes and other necessary equipment.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images of the patient's vascular system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the safe disposal of biohazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth execution of procedures, including communicating with radiologists, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in operating imaging equipment and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
