About the Role

Catalyst Kids is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Instructor to join our team. As an After School Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for students from TK to 8th grade. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement engaging educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our students.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Collaborate with our Site Coordinator to ensure seamless integration of our programs with school day activities.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to our policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months' experience working with children, preferably in an educational or recreational setting.
  • Ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 students, ranging from TK to 8th grade.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow.
