Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practices and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and enthusiastic.
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping and cleaning floors, cleaning produce and deli departments, and organizing the store mop room.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Follow QA daily checklists and sanitation standards set by Food Lion.
  • Understand and adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Conditions

The Quality Assurance Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. The associate must be able to tolerate working in extreme hot and cold temperatures and have sufficient visual ability to check ID cards, checks, and other written documents.
