About the Role

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS). As a member of our highly experienced team, you will provide psychiatric evaluation and ongoing care to adults at our Madison Road office.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, timely documentation of assessment and care provided to GCBHS clients.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assess patients for benefits of medical intervention and provide medication monitoring and assessment.
  • Provide information and education to staff, families, and patients on the course of illness and treatment.
Requirements
  • Must be flexible, creative, and adaptive in handling changing priorities.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in psychopharmacology, including long-acting injectibles.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a collaborative manner.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the US.
  • Have a valid DEA number.
