We are hiring a Product Verification and Stability Engineer in San Antonio, TX to support the development of safe and reliable medical devices. This is a first shift position.

Job Description:

This role involves planning and executing design verification/stability engineering projects and reliability activities. As a Product Verification Engineer, you will develop and validate test methods, write protocols based on defined requirements, and provide clear and concise test reports. You will also perform data analysis activities including tolerance intervals, Ppk, data reduction, and gage repeatability and reproducibility.

You will interact collaboratively with a wide range of disciplines to create innovative products in the challenging and rewarding medical device industry. Your responsibilities will include generating design verification project plans to test design requirements, applying design for reliability (DFR) concepts during the product development process, validating test methods using equipment qualification, software validation, and measurement analysis, and creating custom control, user interface, and data collections programs using LabView.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or other)
  • Two or more years engineering experience in medical device (or other regulated industry) using reliability testing or design
  • Engineering project management experience
  • Understanding of fundamental reliability concepts - life data analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of regulated design environments - specifically medical device development, FDA, or ISO registered experience
  • Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Ability to troubleshoot, improvise, and work from schematics

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $58,944 - $61,018 per year, based on an hourly rate of $28.00 - $28.54. The pay rate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
