Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring that products are properly labeled and easily accessible.
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with receiving inventory shipments, rotating stock, and performing cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in utilizing general office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
