Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Adventist Health. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents identified with special needs and/or those who meet nutritional risk criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional risk and develop personalized nutrition plans.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective implementation of nutrition plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of completion of residency program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
