Job Overview:

The Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons in the aquatic environment. This role includes responding to emergencies, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
  • Participate in all scheduled staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Uphold all safety rules and regulations within the aquatic area.
  • Assist in the upkeep and sanitation of the recreational facility.
  • Address participant concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Execute necessary opening and closing procedures for the facility.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be an enrolled student with active class registration.
  • Possession of American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with UREC aquatic policies and procedures.

Compensation:

$8.00 per hour
